FSDSxTweak Edit - this freeware tool is an ADD-ON for FSDSXTweak
(below).
Making complex material tweaks using FSDSxTweak config files can be
problematic, due to having to look up all the keywords, and the
occasional typo causing havoc. This is a graphical editor for config files, allowing you to easily make and edit tweaks.
This program integrates with FSDSxTweak_Plugin v1.3 or later (below).
Note: This editor is completely compatible with your existing .cfg files - you should be able to open and save them as they are.

FSDSxTweak Plugin - this freeware tool is an ADD-ON for FSDSXTweak (below).
FSDSXTweak is all good and well, but using the command line to build your models sucks. This
tools allows you to set up the paths filenames and so on needed for your project, save those
parameters, and then build your model with a single button press. It can also be used as a
plugin to FSDS, so that you can build everything from inside that application.

FSDSxTweak - this freeware tool allows Abacus FSDS users (from version 3.5.1 onwards), to add
certain features into their models which FSX permits (such as bump mapping), but
which the FSDS interface does not allow. It is designed to be used from the
command line, allowing it to be integrated (via batch files of whatever) into
your workflow, with as little human interaction as possible.
FEATURES:
Currently, FSDSxTweak can add the following into a .x file:
Diffuse map filename
Specular map filename
Ambient map filename
Emissive map filename
Reflection map filename
Shininess (glossiness) map filename
Bump map filename
Displacement map filename
Detail map filename
Fresnel map filename
Environment level scale - you can set how reflective your parts (as Alpha channels used to so under FS9)
Detail scale - the relative scale of your detail map (useful to give smaller detail without larger textures)
Bump scale - the relative scale of your bump map (useful to give smaller bumps without larger textures)
Enhanced material properties - set to cast no shadows (very useful for glass
an props), z-write tweak etc.
Base material properties - set to use FS9 style alphas,
precipitation effects, specular power etc
Set the source and destination functions for the framebuffer blending function
Set the Emissive blend mode (useful for giving proper advanced night lighting to your VCs, etc).
Set dynamic shadows in the VC (the ShadowMapReady switch)

FS-Interrogate is for Developers and Cockpit-Builder who want to
learn/see which data Microsoft Flight-Simulator (MSFS) has to offer
(via FSUIPC and/or WideFS - both by Peter Dowson). Basically the program
consists of a "list of variables" (with description for each) and it lets
your read/write these variables from/to MSFS. This way - hopefully - giving
a better understanding of how it works and what is possible. For the last
4 years FS-Interrogate version 1.xx has been bundled with the
FSUIPC SDK,
however September 2005 FS-Interrogtate2 was made public available with the
26th release of the FSUIPC SDK.

FsEffects is a little freeware tool for Microsoft FlightSimulator 2002. It
can create API files for any FS2002 special effect (e.g. smoke,
waterfalls, ect). The program is rather simple, but you need some
scenery design experience. Don't start with special effects if you
have never created a scenery before.
FsEffects needs the same DLL files as Easy Object Designer (EOD).
FsEffects won't work if these DLLs are not on your computer. Just
install EOD before using FsEffects.
FsEffects is compatible with every scenery design program which can
import API files. I tested it with "Airport 2.6". FsEffects is SCASM
and FreeSC compatible.

FSX SDK ToolBox is a handy Freeware application for those of us who need to delve
again and again into the SDK for Microsoft's new release of Flight Simulator X.
It's basically an in-house tool used by TweakFS and we thought it would be nice
to make it available to other FS developers as well as the general simming
community.
Quick links to frequently-accessed key FSX folders such as the Main FSX,
ApplicationData and MyDocuments folders are also included, as are direct links
to major FSX configuration files like fsx.cfg, scenery.cfg, dll.xml, exe.xml
files and many more.
Note: New with this version: Added a tab on the Tool dialog for generating single and multiple GUIDs (for Cameras and Missions).
GUIDs can then be copied to the clipboard individually or as a list.
